THE DESIGN DIRECTION
A warmer surface.
The same bold move.
This wood-effect aluminium pivot door reference combines a warm-toned panel with a long dark handle and a light entrance surround. The open position makes the door a strong architectural element while the wood-effect surface softens its visual character.
Wood effect describes the finish direction; it does not mean a solid timber door. When preparing a quotation, identify the tone, visible grain direction and which faces of the door should carry the selected finish. A reference image helps establish a starting point, but a physical finish sample should be used when color matching matters.
Coordinate the handle, frame and any side panels with the surrounding stone, paint or glazing. The confirmed door leaf dimensions, pivot position and hardware determine the opening movement. The space on both sides of the axis should be reviewed before the installation arrangement is approved.
The details
that make it work.
Specification checklist | Item | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Dimensions | Structural opening, finished frame size and required clear passage, in millimetres. |
| Pivot & opening | Offset position, inward or outward opening, and clear swing space on both sides. |
| Construction | Leaf build-up, frame, side panels and any thermal-break or insulation requirement. |
| Hardware | Pivot system, supported leaf weight, closing action, handle and lock configuration. |
| Threshold & seals | Finished floor levels, drainage, exposure and the proposed sealing arrangement. |
| Performance evidence | Any project-required thermal, air, water, wind or security evidence for the actual assembly. |
| Order & delivery | Quantity, destination, packing, agreed lead time and delivery responsibilities. |
A design image does not establish a tested rating, hardware capacity or maximum door size. Request the relevant evidence for your chosen assembly where your project requires it.
